Xinqiao Coal Mine in southwest China's Guizhou province was flooded on June the 17th. There were 16 miners working when the accident happened. Three men were rescued Sunday, nearly a month after they were trapped.

The miners were trapped for 25 days.
The three survivors were found at noon on Sunday, and immediately lifted to the ground.
They appeared very weak but were able to talk. Doctors told them not to speak to conserve their energy.
A nurse said, "Their condition is quite good. They felt thirsty at first, and it's better now. They don't want to eat anything."
