An amazing lost-and-found story about a camera that found its way back to its owner after five years. And, from across an ocean.

This underwater camera was found washed up on a beach in central Taiwan last month by an airlines manager Cheng Ming-chiu. As the waterproof casing was still intact, he was able to download the pictures from the camera and put them on social media networks. After US media picked up the story, Cheng successfully tracked down the owner- a woman from the US state of Georgia.

It turns out she lost the camera on a night dive near Hawaii's Black Rock beach in 2007. Somehow the camera drifted nearly 10,000 kilometres across the Pacific Ocean and ended up on the coast of Taiwan. Now Cheng's airline is flying the lucky lady to Taiwan to collect her camera.
