The world's largest sand castle theme park will open during the May Day holiday.

Located in Weihai, China's Shandong Province, the park covers more than 70,000 square meters, and features more than 70 Disney figures.

The largest sand castle stands at 18 meters, allowing its visitors an aerial view of the entire park. All the sand sculptures are slated for completion by the end of April.

Meanwhile, the seventh sand art festival will also be held during the May Day holiday. Visitors can get a hands-on experience by learning sand sculpturing at organised workshops.
