SCO counter-terrorism drill in north China enters last day

The live-fire drill began this morning after days of collaborated training. Chinese Military spokesman Yang Yujun said that the drill is the fifth of its kind under the Shanghai Cooperation Organization framework. He also said that the drill is aimed at battling the "three evil forces" — separatism, extremism and terrorism.

Peace Mission 2014 involves more than 7,000 troops from five members of the SCO — China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
