A Mexican woman has celebrated what is believed to be her 127th birthday, making her the world's oldest living person.
Leandra Becerra is now living with her grandson's family in Zapopan, western Mexico. All five of her children have already passed away. She is now in a wheelchair and sleeps for most of the day, but her grandson Samuel Alvear said she is in relatively good health.
Previously, the person with the longest lifespan in the Guinness Book of Records was a Frenchwoman, Jeanne Louise Calment, who lived for 122 years.
