Large waves roll in along Qiantang River

The tidal bores on the Qiantang River in Zhejiang province fascinated tourists after Monday's Mid-Autumn Festival.

The bores are caused by the gravitational pull of the moon and occur when the incoming tide forms a wave that runs against the current.
