Super Dan defends men's singles title at Asia Games

Olympic champ Lin Dan took on world title-holder Chen Long in an all-Chinese final. But the defending champion Lin got off to a slow start, while Chen, the young star came agonisingly close to taking the crown...leading the first game 7-1 and cruising 21-12 to win the frame.

But Lin fought back in the second, taking advantage of Chen's mistakes for a 6-0 run. Super Dan then leveled the match, 21-16.

In the deciding game, a show of power and agility from the former world number one Lin saw him cruise to another 21-16, as well as the Asian title.

Shi, Wu win 3m synchro springboard

Multiple Olympic champion Wu Minxia and teammate Shi Tingmao cruised to an easy win in the 3m synchronised springboard to build on their gold medal success at last year's world championships in Barcelona. The Chinese pair showed some beautiful skill that earned applause from some fans at the arena.

The silver went to Malaysia and the DPRK took the bronze. China won all 10 diving gold medals at the Guangzhou Games four years ago and they will be favourites to repeat the feat in Incheon, South Korea.

China win women's kayak four 500m

China won the women's Kayak four 500m final in 1 minute and 34.477 seconds. South Korea picked up the silver and Kazakhstan finished in third.

Chinese athlete wins in 1:51.334

China's Zhou Yu defended her title in the women's kayak single 500m. The 25 year old led the race in one minute and 51.334 seconds. Natalya Sergeyeva from Kazakhstan took the silver and South Korean Lee Sunja settled for bronze.

Veteran Li wins in 39.27 secs

China's Li Qiang won the canoe single 200m final in a time of 39.27 seconds.

China continue to lead and now have 112 golds. Hosts South Korea are second with 44, followed by Japan with 35.
