A day ahead of Ukraine's parliament election, Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko has made a televised speech, calling his people to vote for a new parliament that is pro-Europe, pro-reform and anti-corruption. Speaking in Kiev, Poroshenko reminded his people of his reasons for disbanding the Verkhovna Rada, the parliament.
"I dissolved the previous parliament because it had descendent into an obedient tool in the hands of the dictator. Many of the parliament members are supporters of Russia. This parliament election is needed to the reform. I believe the previous parliament lack of potential for reform," he said.
