The State Forestry Administration has released a video of a rare Siberian tiger. It's been identified as Ustin, one of the tigers released into the wild in Russia's far east by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The video was taken on Friday on Heixiazi island, which is divided between Russia and China. Putin released Ustin into the wild in Rusisa's Jewish Autonomous Oblast in June.

Another tiger released by Putin was seen in China in October. The State Forestry Administration says Ustin had ice on his body because it had reached the island by swimming across the river.

Officials say the tiger has not found any food since no carcasses of prey had been found in monitoring sites. They say he is in good shape and they will continue to monitor him to ensure he adapts to the environment.
