China has released its third economic census data, showing an overall picture of the country's secondary and service sectors.
The data shows 10.85 million corporate enterprises as of the end of 2013, up by 52.9% from 2008. They employed a total of 356.02 million people, up by 30.4% from 2008. Female employees take up 35.3%.
The corporate enterprises had total assets of 466.8 trillion RMB, up by 125% from 2008. Economic structure changed, with secondary industries taking 25.3% and services, 74.7 %. The service sector increased by 5.7% as of the end of 2013.
