The finalized version of China's unified property ownership certificate is out. That comes just before new property registration rules take effect on March 1st or Sunday.
What this certificate does is -- standardise property registration across China, which will make property regulation easier and protect owners.
The new certificate will be officially issued in certain areas starting Sunday, while existing certificates for property ownership, use of state-owned land and collective forest property rights will remain valid.
Officials say only direct stakeholders are eligible to enquire online about registered property.
