2015 Shanghai Auto Show shifts into high gear

About 2,000 exhibitors from around the world have brought their latest models to wow car enthusiasts at 2015 Shanghai Auto Show.

"Internet-connected cars" or smart cars are a hot topic at the show. Chinese Internet giants Alibaba, Tencent, and Baidu have all teamed up with local car makers on car designs.

The Chinese smart car brand Pateo is showing its concept car with a natural user interface.

And the iconic luxury brand Lincoln unveiled its Continental Concept.

The Shanghai Auto Show will last throughout the week and bring new technology, new energy and new models to Chinese consumers.
