As Children's Day is around the corner, a musical for the kids—'Beetles' Valley'— has premiered in Beijing. The musical is an adaptation of a German fairy-tale, which is popular in Europe.

The musical is about a story in Beetles' Valley, where the yearly Flower Festival is going to be held, but the honey is stolen. The beetle, Max, volunteers to find the honey. He starts his journey of adventure and finally succeeds.

The musical invites children to play roles in it and provides professional training in stage acting. The musical will be shown in Beijing until June 1, and will then tour major cities, including Shanghai, Tianjin, Zhengzhou, Nanjing and many others. It will also travel to Germany later this year.
