In the opening game of Canada for action from the women's World Cup, China were unlucky to get a point as they allowed a late penalty to fall to the hosts. But in their second game -- against the Netherlands, China were able to get a lucky break -- and keep their chances for advancing out of the group alive.

FIFA Women's World Cup: Wang's stoppage time winner seals victory for China

Despite dominating the game, China would struggle to find a goal, Jiali Tang's effort finding the bar -- that would be the closest either side would get to actually scoring through the first 90 minutes of action.

But China would find a breakthrough in injury time -- 'keeper Sari Van Veenendaal and Merel Van Dongen are not on the same page -- allowing Lisi Wang slip between the two and find the winner. She was all smiles after putting her team in front.

The final whistle went moments later as China sneaked out what was a deserved win.

China fired 25 shots at the Dutch net, but only the last one went in -- as they grab a 1-nil win.

The win left the group up for grabs with three teams China, Canada and the Netherlands all on three points, Canada are currently on the pitch against New Zealand.
