'Stories of CPC' Thematic Briefing on Xinjiang

The "Stories of CPC" Thematic Briefing on Xinjiang co-hosted by the IDCPC and the CPC Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional Committee was held in Urumqi on Feb. 22. The event was conducted via video link with over 300 international participants representing nearly 200 political parties, international institutions, civil society organisations, media outlets and think tanks from over 60 countries.

The "Stories of CPC" thematic briefing has been a platform intended to better communicate to the international community Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, its vivid practice in various localities across China and the positive results thereof. Focusing on the theme of "A Better Life for All" and covering topics ranging from safeguarding people's health and safety, poverty elimination to unity and solidarity among ethnic groups, the upcoming event will highlight true accounts of what the CPC Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional Committee has done to implement Party's basic policy on the governance of Xinjiang in the new era as well as relevant decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, in particular, the leading role it plays in rallying people of Xinjiang from various ethnic backgrounds to build a better life for all.
