The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development is urging local governments where housing prices rose quickly at the end of 2010 to release details of their cities' property purchase restrictions, Chongqing Evening News reports.
A vice ministerial-level officer said local governments that won't release the details would be asked to "have a personal talk with central government officers."
The restriction policies have quickly spread to the second- and third-tier cities. Zhengzhou, Taiyuan, Wuhan and Kunming have recently released the details of the policy. Qingdao, Jinan and some cities in Shaanxi and Guangxi will also issue the details.
