Courts go online to stop corruption
February-11-2011

All provincial-level courts in China have launched Websites to collect tips against corrupt judges and court officials, Xinhua reports. The launches follow an example set by the Supreme People's Court (SPC), whose own Website for such tips debuted in May 2009. People can now provide information directly online and follow up on developments.
All provincial Websites link to the SPC Website at jubao.court.gov.cn. The courts' discipline departments must respond to tips and information on their Websites within 10 business days and report their responses online.
