A man in Jiangxi province was recently caught by local police after attempting to rape a young woman who was sleeping naked.
The man, surnamed Ye, is a jobless man over 40 who saw the young woman on the second floor of a building near where he was living. He tried to enter the woman's apartment by stealing her key, which was hanging near a window. Ye was not able to rape the woman because she woke up and fought him off.
Ye then went back to his home and cooked a bowl of egg soup to comfort the woman because he thought that would persuade her not to call the police. However, the police arrested Ye the following day.
