Two police cars have been set on fire in north London on Saturday night amid a protest over the fatal shooting of a man by police, Sky News reported.

A shop and a bus have also been set on fire and police have been attacked with bottles and other missiles.

There were no immediate reports of casualties in the violence.

About 300 people have gathered at the disturbance scene in Tottenham, north London.

Earlier in the evening, around 120 protesters started marching towards the Tottenham police station demanding justice for Mark Duggan, the man shot dead by police on Thursday, who was a 29-year-old father of four kids.

The protest turned into violence later in the night, the BBC reported.
