Twenty-nine people were injured Friday after a blast ripped through a restaurant in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, local authorities said.
The blast occurred at about 3:30 p.m. at the Restaurant called "007" in Sanhe Street, Fengdu County, said a spokesman with the county government.
The injured were rushed to hospital for treatment, with two in critical condition, the spokesman said.
The cause of the blast is being investigated.
