The anti-corporate Occupy Wall Street protesters clashed with police in New York's busiest commercial center of Times Square on Saturday.

Clashes occurred at the intersection of the 46th Street and seventh Avenue when police on horseback tried to prevent the protesters from entering the square.

Some people panicked when the clashes occurred and a few fell down when running in the crowd.

Reports said at least three protesters were arrested while marching uptown. Earlier, 24 people were reported having been arrested at the Citibank near Washington Square Park for trespassing.

The on-going Occupy Wall Street protests, which was headquartered in New York's Zuccotti Park, broke out on Sept. 17, and has spread to other major U.S. cities.
