6.0M earthquake jolted off east coast of Japan

An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted off the east coast of Honshu, Japan at 3:31 a.m. Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Network Center(CENC).

The epicenter, with a depth of 20 km, was monitored at 35.0 degrees north latitude and 141.4 degrees east longitude, the center said.
