Chinese actress Zhang Ruifang dies aged 94

Renowned Chinese actress Zhang Ruifang has died at the age of 94.

The actress was famed for playing the title role in the 1962 film Li Shuangshuang.

Zhang won the best actress prize at China's most prestigious film awards the hundred flowers award for the role the following year.

The actress died in Shanghai on Thursday night due to poor health.
