Roger Federer and Serena Williams were the guests of honour at the Wimbledon Champions Party in London on Sunday.

Serena won her fifth Wimbledon singles title and her fifth doubles title with her sister Venus. It was her 14th singles grand slam title.

The victory silenced a lot of voices who doubted the 30-year-old would ever be able to win a major again, and Serena also set a new women's record for aces served at the All England Club. Williams served a total of 102 on her way to winning the title.

Federer topped Britain's Andy Murray to win his seventh Wimbledon crown just hours. The Swiss will take over the world number one seat on Monday. It will mark his 287th week at the top of the rankings, one more week than the former American tennis player Pete Sampras.

Also in attendance at the party was Jonathan Marray. He won the men's doubles title with Danish partner Frederik Nielsen. It was the first time a Brit had won the men's doubles at Wimbledon in 76 years.
