According to the post, One Foundation, originally founded by Jet Li in April 2007, took in nearly 400 million yuan in donations, and the foundation has only appropriated around 40 million yuan, accounting for about nine percent of the total.

The Ya'an earthquake occurred on April 20, 2013 in Lushan City in Southwest China's Sichuan Province, killing 196 people.

Jet Li, who is also a film producer and martial artist, has not responded to the allegation, however he posted on his Weibo on April 20 that "One Foundation has gained support, and also people have doubted it. No matter what happens, we will stick to doing one good deed every day. This is our dream."
