Seven suspects were captured and a total of 106 kilograms of methamphetamine was seized. It's the largest case of its kind since the anti-smuggling bureau under the Shenzhen customs was established in 1999.

In the group of seven suspects, three are from Hong Kong and the rest are from Southeast Asia.

Initial investigations show the group has been smuggling drugs from Hong Kong to New Zealand and Australia through mail since last October.

The drug manufacturing center of the group was destroyed late last month.

The suspects were captured in Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Australia separately.
