Some 32 bodies were found in Mexico's Gulf coast state of Veracruz amid growing violence blamed on organized crime, the Navy said on Thursday.
"The government regrets to announce the discovery of 35 bodies," the Navy said in a brief statement.
The discovery came after 35 bodies, including 12 women and 23 men, were dumped by unidentified gunmen on a highway in the Veracruz state last month.
The people were believed to be victims of turf wars between drug cartels Los Zetas and the Gulf Cartel, which were fighting for the control over drug trafficking routes from Central America and the Caribbean.
