Singapore's Minister of State to visit Malaysia

Singapore's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Masagos Zulkifli will visit Kuala Lumpur, Kedah and Perlis from May 7 to 10, a press release said Monday.

While in Kuala Lumpur, Masagos will call on Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Datuk Richard Riot Jaem, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Datuk Wira Abu Seman Yusop, as well as other Malaysian personalities, according to the press release by Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday.

Masagos will discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various areas including economy, security and people-to-people ties.

In Kedah, Masagos is scheduled to call on the Chairman of the Kedah Council of Regency, His Highness Tunku Annuar Sultan Badlishah, and on Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Azizan Abdul Razak.

In Perlis, Masagos will have an audience with the Raja of Perlis His Royal Highness Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin.

He is also scheduled to call on Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Md Isa Sabu. Masagos will exchange views on strengthening Singapore's linkages with the two northern Malaysian states.
