Israel launched an airstrike in the Syrian capital of Damascus earlier on Sunday.

The Syrian army has pinpointed targets in Israel to strike, the state TV reported Sunday.

The marked targets would be hit if Israel attacked Syria again, accoridng to Syrian officials.

Meanwhile, Syrian troops have been told to respond to any attack without waiting orders from the supreme command.

Syria has also given the green light for the Palestinians to "act against Israel" from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, according to the TV.

Israel launched its second airstrike in three days in the Syrian capital of Damascus earlier on Sunday, reportedly targeting a military research center, which it has struck in late January.
