Iran's Arak heavy water reactor dispute with the six world powers has almost been solved during their nuclear negotiations, head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali-Akbar Salehi, said on Saturday.
"As for Arak heavy water reactor, we had negotiations with the P5+1 group. We proposed to redesign the core of the reactor and to reduce plutonium output to one fifth (of the plant's capacity) which was welcomed by the P5+1 group," Salehi told Al-Alam arabic- language TV station.
"We also completed dilution of 103 kilogram of 20 percent enriched uranium stockpile to five percent enriched uranium on April 12," he said, adding that "generally, the case of dilution is closed."
