Three men charged with terrorism offences appeared before a London court on Thursday, Britain's Metropolitan Police confirmed.
"Three men aged 19, 21 and 27, arrested on Nov. 6, appeared at Westminster Magistrates at 2 p.m. (0200 GMT) today, charged with terrorism offences," the Metropolitan Police announced on its twitter feed.
The suspects, who were arrested in London and High Wycombe, were accused of conspiring to carry out terrorist acts.
Police gave no details about the three men's identity, but the suspects were believed to be Nadir Ali Sayed, Yousaf Shah Syed and Haseeb Hamayoon arrested earlier this month, according to local media reports.
In August, Britain upgraded its international terrorism threat level from "substantial" to "severe," the second highest of five possible threat ranks.
