Two Arab-looking males were on Tuesday indicted for last August's bombing in the heart of the Thai capital which killed 20 people and injured more than 100 others.

The bombing suspects, identified as Adem Karadak alias Bilal Mohammed and Meiraili Yusufu, were taken from a detention unit inside the 11th Army District headquarters to the Bangkok Military Court for indictment on 10 charges, including an alleged conspiracy to premeditatedly kill and injure innocent people at Erawan shrine, illegal possessions of explosives and illegal entry into Thailand.

Schedules for court trials on the fatal bombing case against the two men are yet to be fixed by the court.

Both were reported to have made confessions to the military during their detention at the army barracks though they had earlier dismissed all the charges pertaining to the bombing.

They were alleged by military prosecutors of carrying out the bombing conspiracy with explosives hidden at an apartment house on the eastern outskirts of the capital and of using fake passports to disguise themselves.
