The Ambassador made the remarks on Monday during a special event organized in connection with the School Feeding Program jointly implemented by the Office of the First Lady of Ethiopia and Ye Enat Weg Charitable Association, which benefits 20,000 students at primary schools in Addis Ababa.

The event was organized to celebrate achievements and discuss ways of going forward with the program.

He said that the Embassy, the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) and the Chinese business community in Ethiopia have been supporting the program aimed at benefiting the young people who are the future of the nation.

He also stated that CFPA has created an account (website) to solicit support in China not only from organizations but also from individuals to the school feeding program.
