British police arrest man linked to Manchester attack

A 44-year-old man has been arrested by British police on suspicion of terrorism offences in connection with the Manchester bombing attack, Sky News reported on Friday.

The suspect was arrested this evening in the Rusholme area of Manchester, according to a statement from the police.

So far nine people remain in custody for questioning, and police have released another two without charge.

This is a fast moving investigation and "we are keeping as open mind at this stage", the police said.
