Chinese, Bulgarian officials confident in deepening bilateral military cooperation

SOFIA, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Chinese and Bulgarian officials here on Wednesday evening at the reception dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China expressed confidence that bilateral military cooperation would deepen.

Senior Colonel Liu Weidong, Chinese military attache to Bulgaria, said that he's confident in achieving more fruitful results in cooperation between the armies of China and Bulgaria with the two sides' common efforts.

Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Defense Anatoliy Velichkov also expressed the willingness to enhance the cooperation, saying the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense will support such cooperation.

More than 200 guests, including Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Interior Milko Berner, as well as high-level military officers and foreign delegates attended the reception.

A photo exhibition titled "Journey of Glory" and the newly-made documentary "PLA Today" were also displayed at the reception. Enditem
