Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi accompanied the crown prince to attend the event held in Beijing Foreign Studies University, one of China's oldest and most prestigious language universities.

The final played between China and Denmark was tied at 5-5, and the two teams shared the championship.

This year marks the 67th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-Danish diplomatic relations. The friendly cooperation between the two countries has covered almost all aspects and brought tangible benefits to the two peoples. The crown prince's visit will further strengthen the bilateral ties and enhance the friendship between the two peoples.

After the football match, the crown prince attended the opening ceremony of an exhibition featuring the theme of "A Royal Modern Household" at the Danish Cultural Center in Beijing's 798 Art District.

The crown prince's visit is scheduled to last four days and will conclude in South China's Guangzhou on Sept. 26.
