A bar deck collapsed Saturday in the U.S. State of Georgia, injuring 14, including two in serious condition, local fire department said.
"A total of 14 were ultimately transported to local hospitals for treatment, 2 serious injuries," Savannah Fire Department said on social media, adding that the incident took place around 4:30 pm (2030 GMT).
The deck fell 12 feet (3.7 meters) down onto a seating area below, Savannah Fire Department said in another tweet.
From the photos shared on social media, the deck appears to be wooden, and wood splinters and debris can be seen on the edges of the broken-off portion. Chairs and tables can be seen both above and below the deck.
