Chief minister of Jharkhand visits China

At the invitation of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC) Central Committee, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand ShriRaghubar Das is currently visiting China from Sept. 2-6. The visit is part of regular exchanges between India and China under MEA-IDCPC MoU. 


Chief Minister of Jharkhand ShriRaghubar Das is accompanied by Minister of Rural Development ShriNilkanth Singh Munda, Minister of Revenue, Land Registration, Tourism, Youth, Culture and Sports Affairs Shri Amar Kumar Bauri and Minister of Urban Development, Housing and Transport ShriChandreshwar Prasad Singh. 


The delegation visited Shanghai and Beijing and will also be visiting Zhengzhou, Henan province. 


Das met with Song Tao, minister of the IDCPC in Beijing on Sept. 4. He also called on Huang Kunming, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee later that day. They discussed issues related to bilateral relations as well as exchanged views on socio-economic development of provinces. 


While in Zhengzhou, the delegation will be meeting provincial leadership of Henan province and visiting major food processing and infrastructure companies of China. Das invited the Chinese companies to invest in Jharkhand.
