5.8-magnitude quake hits Raoul Island, New Zealand

A 5.8-magnitude earthquake jolted 118 km NE of Raoul Island, New Zealand at 19:14:12 GMT Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 35.0 km, was initially determined to be at 28.647 degrees south latitude and 176.9075 degrees west longitude.
