ROK Consul General arrives in Wuhan

Kang Seung Seok, the new consul general of the Republic of Korea (ROK) in Wuhan, arrived in the city on Thursday, bringing relief supplies donated by local governments, enterprises and the private sector of the ROK.


Qin Yu, director of the Hubei Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, welcomed Kang at the Wuhan Tianhe International Airport entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


Kang will provide assistance to more than 100 citizens of the ROK in and around Wuhan.


Lee Kwang Ho, deputy consul general of the ROK in Wuhan, had acted as the consul general before Kang arrived, serving ROK citizens residing in the city and fighting against the novel coronavirus with the assistance of the local government, according to the office.
