A group of 64 young delegates from Africa have arrived in China to partake in the 8th China-Africa Youth Festival. Running from May 19-26, this celebration of China and Africa's shared friendship and common aspirations is organized by the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. With outings, events and activities scheduled in both Beijing and Zhejiang province, this gala gives young delegates from both China and Africa the chance to get a comprehensive look at Chinese modernization whiling participating in traditional Chinese cultural activities. The theme for this year's festival is "Gathering Youth Strength to Build China-Africa Modernization."
