HOUSTON, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- A man in the U.S. state of Texas has been accused of posting his plan online for a school shooting spree, authorities said Wednesday.

Patrick Joseph Hudson, 19, who used the online name "SS_Patrick," was accused of posting his plan in an online chat room threatening to kill as many school children as possible, according to newspaper The Houston Chronicle.

A tipster forwarded pages of chat logs containing the posts from "SS Patrick" to investigators. The chats included comments by the "SS_Patrick" that stated he would leave a few children alive, so they would never grow up correctly and that he planned to kill himself in the classroom after the shooting, investigators said.

FBI agents tracked Hudson down to his home and then met him at his job at an Office Max, the report said.

Hudson was arrested on charges of making a terroristic threat and currently in jail, according to reports. Enditem
