6.0-magnitude quake hits S. Philippines

MANILA, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6 on the Richter scale jolted Sarangani province, southern Philippines 12: 42 p.m., local time on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 337.4 km, was initially determined to be at 4.191 degrees north latitude and 124.573 degrees east longitude. Enditem
