Six French nationals who were reported missing since Sunday in the Caribbean between the French island of Martinique and the island nation of Dominica after the monster Hurricane Sandy storm swept the region, have been found safe and unharmed, local media reported late Monday.

According to preliminary reports, the two women and four men returned home safe "without any hindrance," the daily Le Parisien said.

Authorities in Martinique and French Guiana, two overseas regions of France, launched rescue operations to track down the missing following a call from one of the men's girlfriend, it added. Endi
