Japan's core private-sector machinery orders reduced as a seasonally adjusted 4.3 percent in September, Cabinet Office said Thursday.

The number fell to 686.2 billion yen from the previous month, for the second straight month of fall.

Core orders are widely seen as an indicator for future corporate capital spending. Endi
