Singapore's foreign minister to visit Turkey

Singapore's Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam is scheduled to pay a three-day official visit to Turkey from Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Wednesday.

During his visit, he will meet Turkey's President Abdullah Gul, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Cemil Cicek, Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan, his counterpart Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutoglu, and other Turkish leaders.

He is also scheduled to attend the Fifth Annual Ambassadors' Conference organised by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and made a speech named "The Rise of Asia in International Relations" at the meeting, the ministry added. Enditem
