Jordanian health authorities announced Thursday the death of a 27-year-old pregnant woman suffering from H1N1 influenza, which increased the death toll of the disease in the country to four since the beginning of this year, the state-run Petra news agency reported.

The fourth fatality was reported in Princess Basma Hospital in Irbid, the hospital's director, Akram Khasawneh said.

"The woman was admitted into the intensive care unit at the hospital after she was reported in a difficult health condition," Khasawneh said.

In January, a woman in her 40s and a 26-year-old man in the northern city of Irbid died after suffering from H1N1 influenza as well as a young man died in King Abdullah I Hospital. Endi
