Colombia on Friday defeated Bolivia 5-0 before 42,000 fans gathered in Metropolitano stadium in the northern city of Baranquilla, during the South American qualifying tournament for the 2014 World Cup.

The Colombian goals were scored by Macnelly Torres (minute 20), Carlos Valdes (48), Teofilo Gutierrez (62), Radamel Falcao (85) and Pablo Armero (92).

With this victory, Colombians led by Argentinean Jose Pekerman garnered 19 points in the Conmebol (South American Football Confederation) qualifiers, just behind Argentina.

"El Tigre", as Falcao is known, hailed Pekerman's decision to call the same players.

Falcao added the team is studying how to face Venezuela, the next team Colombia will face on March 26.

During the game, a minute of silence was held for late Miguel Calero, former goalkeeper of Colombia, who died last December in Mexico. Endi
