Iran's nuclear negotiating team left here for Almaty of Kazakhstan on Wednesday to attend the new round of talks between the Islamic republic and the world powers, local media reported.
Iran and the P5+1 group (Britain, China, France, Russia, the United States and Germany) held their latest meeting on the former 's nuclear program in Almaty in late February and agreed to hold another round of talks in the capital of Kazakhstan on April 5 and 6.
The parties also held expert-level nuclear talks in Turkey's Istanbul in late March to discuss a revised proposal that asks Iran to suspend its enrichment of uranium and disable the underground Fordow facility in exchange for limited sanction relief.
Iran insists that his "rights" of uranium enrichment should be recognized by the P5+1 group.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said Wednesday that he is hopeful about the results of the upcoming talks between Iran and the P5+1 group.
"The upcoming talks are likely to be conducted in a reasonable atmosphere which would help both sides reach a final solution," Mehmanparast was quoted as saying by semi-official Fars news agency. Endi
