At least four people were killed and 10 others injured in a car crash in Egypt's Monoufeya governorate on Tuesday, official MENA news agency reported.
The accident occurred when a microbus hit a truck on the Manouf- Zawiyet Razin road, north of the capital Cairo.
The wounded, suffered from fractures and severe injuries, were transferred to the nearby hospital, MENA said.
Egypt's Transportation Minister Hatem Abdel-Latif recently said road accidents in Egypt kill about 10,000 people every year and the government is working hard to improve the country's road services.
The lack of highway security monitoring system, poor road maintenance and the ignorance of traffic rules are behind the high rate of road accidents in Egypt. Endi
